Rolland C. Swing II

CEO / Founder

Rolland has 14+ years of experience leading complex enterprise, ML, AI, and security-adjacent programs at Microsoft and Avanade, combined with 25 years of disciplined philosophical and contemplative practice that informs his approach to ethics, risk, and responsibility. His background spans enterprise platform security, large-scale systems execution, and long-horizon ethical inquiry — converging in Piscys as a practical response to the governance challenges posed by advanced AI.

Rolland founded Piscys with the conviction that trustworthy AI must be built on rigorous engineering, clear accountability, and systems designed to scale responsibly. His work focuses on translating ethical intent into operational governance principles designed to help keep intelligent systems auditable, comprehensible, and accountable as capability accelerates.

J. H.

CTO / Founder

J. H. brings 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience across Fortune 100 environments including Apple, ASML, NetApp, and Cisco — most recently seven-plus years as a Site Reliability Engineer at Cisco: the discipline of keeping mission-critical systems safe, observable, and governable at machine speed. His practice spans reliability engineering, large-scale operations, automated intervention, error budgets, incident command, and evidence-driven postmortems.

At Piscys, he leads platform and systems architecture, translating governance and assurance concepts into buildable infrastructure. Runtime governance is, at its core, reliability engineering pointed at AI authority — and his work is designed to make AI systems not only powerful but resilient, auditable, and controllable, bringing production-grade SRE rigor to the technical foundations of AI governance.
