Website Terms of Use

Last Updated: February 16, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Piscys website, including any content, resources, and communications made available through it (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Who We Are

The Site is operated by Piscys (“Piscys,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Contact: info@piscys.ai

2) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date indicates the effective date of the current version. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information, including for newsletter delivery and analytics.

4) Permitted Use and Acceptable Use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • access or use the Site in a way that violates applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, accounts, or data;
  • interfere with the Site’s operation or security (including scanning, probing, or testing vulnerabilities without authorization);
  • scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data at scale except as permitted by robots.txt or with written permission;
  • submit or transmit malicious code, spam, or deceptive content;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

We may suspend or block access to the Site for conduct we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

5) Newsletter and Communications

If you provide your email address to subscribe to our newsletter or updates:

  • Consent: You consent to receive recurring emails from Piscys related to governance, compliance, product updates, insights, and related communications.
  • Opt-out: You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by contacting us. Unsubscribe requests may take a short period to process.
  • Transactional messages: Even if you unsubscribe, we may still send non-marketing messages where permitted (e.g., security notices or changes to these Terms).
  • Third-party providers: We may use third-party email/CRM providers to send and manage communications. We do not sell your email address as a standalone data asset, and we use service providers under contractual restrictions consistent with our Privacy Policy.

6) Early-Stage Product Information; No Reliance

The Site may describe products, services, features, roadmaps, and technical concepts that are in development. Any such descriptions are provided for informational purposes only and do not create any commitment to deliver specific functionality, timelines, availability, or performance.

You agree that you will not rely on Site content as the basis for procurement decisions, compliance determinations, or deployment safety conclusions without a separate, written agreement with Piscys.

7) No Professional Advice

Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal, compliance, security, financial, or other professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.

8) Intellectual Property

The Site and its content—including text, graphics, logos, product names, designs, and other materials—are owned by Piscys or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

  • License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your internal informational purposes.
  • Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, create derivative works, reverse engineer, or exploit Site content except as expressly permitted by law or with our written permission.
  • Trademarks: “Piscys” and associated marks are trademarks of Piscys. Other marks may belong to their respective owners.

9) Feedback

If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions (“Feedback”), you grant Piscys a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate the Feedback without restriction or compensation, unless prohibited by law.

The Site may link to third-party websites or services. Piscys does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

11) Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PISCYS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PISCYS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

IN ALL CASES, PISCYS’ TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED US $100 (OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT PERMITTED BY LAW), EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITATION IS PROHIBITED.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Piscys and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another.

14) Confidentiality and Investor/Partner Materials (If Applicable)

If the Site provides access to materials designated confidential (e.g., decks, memos, demo access, data room links), those materials are provided subject to separate confidentiality terms, and may require an NDA. Unauthorized distribution is prohibited.

15) Governing Law; Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

16) Severability; Entire Agreement

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices posted on the Site) constitute the entire agreement regarding the Site.
